Batticaloa Police on campaign to prevent road accidents

The Batticaloa Police today (28th December), initiated a campaign to prevent and reduce road accidents in the district, local media reports. The program was commenced after the unveiling of a notice board instructing drivers of rules and regulations, by the Batticaloa and Ampara district DIG Yagodaarachchi. The program included pasting stickers on buses, three wheelers and other vehicles reminding drivers of road rules.
